Chainomics supports direct integration with 9 major transportation management systems so your shipment portfolio stays current without manual exports or uploads. Once you connect your TMS, Chainomics pulls your current shipment data, assigns every load an AI-powered disruption risk score (0–100), and surfaces high-risk shipments on your Shipments dashboard — automatically.
Before you begin, obtain your TMS API endpoint URL and API key from your TMS administrator. Chainomics encrypts all credentials at rest and never stores them in plain text.

Connect Your TMS

1

Navigate to the TMS Connection tab

In the Chainomics platform, go to Shipments → Upload Shipments and select the TMS Connection tab.
2

Select your TMS platform

Choose your TMS from the platform grid. Each tile shows the platform name and product line (for example, McLeod shows LoadMaster / PowerBroker) so you can confirm you’re selecting the right system.
3

Enter your connection credentials

Provide the API Endpoint URL and API Key supplied by your TMS administrator. Chainomics masks your key immediately after entry and stores it encrypted at rest.
4

Test and authorize the connection

Click Test Connection. Chainomics verifies the credentials against your TMS API. Once the verification succeeds, click Continue to move to the data-scope configuration, then click Finish Setup & Import to authorize the full connection.
5

Chainomics imports your shipments and begins risk scoring

Chainomics pulls your current shipment portfolio in the background — you can navigate away during the import. When the import finishes, every shipment receives an AI disruption risk score (0–100) and appears in your Shipments dashboard.

After the Connection

Once your TMS is connected, Chainomics:
  • Imports your shipment portfolio — historical records (up to 12 months, based on your scope selection) and live active loads.
  • Auto-scores every shipment — each load is assigned a disruption risk score from 0 to 100, factoring in weather, port congestion, carrier safety, fuel conditions, border wait times, and active labor events along the route.
  • Surfaces critical loads — shipments scoring above the critical threshold are flagged for human-in-the-loop triage in the Shipments dashboard.

Sync Frequency

During setup, you can configure automatic re-sync intervals (every 15, 30, or 60 minutes) or set sync to manual only. Manual syncs can be triggered at any time from the connected TMS tile in the TMS Connection tab.

Credits Earned from TMS Connections

Connecting your TMS earns AI credits toward your tier progression (Bronze → Silver → Gold → Platinum), which you can spend on features like Ask Ms. Z, tariff scenario modeling, and AI agent runs. Here’s the credit schedule:
ActionCredits Earned
First TMS connection (per platform)+100 cr one-time bonus
Historical import+0.1 cr per shipment record, capped at 100 cr per import
Live sync event+5 cr per sync event, up to 3 credit events per day
